OUR STORY

The spirit behind the salon is the energetic duo of Rik and Raquel Watters, two individuals with a passion for life that’s only rivaled by their talent for creating timeless, unforgettable styles. Rik's career spanned over 40 years. Rik mentored and trained a superior group of stylists and colorists who are dedicated to maintaining his legacy as a master colorist who provided outstanding customer service. Raquel’s life-long zest for fashion took shape when she created her own boutique, Tango, in Coral Gables. When the two met over 25 years ago – the connection was instant. So was the idea to create a haven for all things chic and stunning--Rik Rak Salon Boutique & Bar, a fusion of design and beauty, was born.
